Our client, The World Economy Institute of Romania, decided to create an application with which they can measure the levels of financial literacy and improve the financial well-being in Romania.

A needed application for financial education
IEM decided to use technology to measure the financial literacy and improve the financial well-being in Romania. This mission required the development of an Android application that can measure the levels of these two factors through questionnaires.

The Romanian Academy
IEM, The World Economics Institute is part of the National Economic Research Institute of the Romanian Academy.
Its main activity consists of researching, informing and consultancy in regards to world economics.
Our solution
A user-friendly application for all age-groups
We designed and developed a new application designed specifically for mobile devices.
Our team proceeded with the development of this project with one idea in mind: create a clean, modern feeling application that anyone can use.
The content for the application was provided by The World Economy Institute of Romania through several studies that they have prepared prior to the application’s conception.
Approach
Keeping it simple to use
Based on a good initial brief we were able to establish the needs and goals for this project really fast. We applied the core principle of developing a user-friendly application to those goals. That allowed us to remain focused on the most important aspects of the app throughout its construction process.
This way we managed to develop a well-executed application within budget and within the agreed timeframe.
The application is being used today and the results are more than satisfying.

From the get go we had a choice to make: we needed a modern technology that can be maintained easily through the years. That’s why we chose Flutter, Google’s solution for building mobile apps, which will allow us to maintain the application long term.
